Old Beam is a small specialty mill that specializes in producing custom work for discriminating tastes. Nothing we produce is common or ordinary. We start with genuine antique heart pine carefully salvaged from historic properties. We mill the wood with care and precision to give you a product of which your children's children can be proud.
Moulding
Your beautiful heart pine floor is not complete without complimentary moulding. Old Beam can provide you with custom moulding made from antique pine stock, the same as your floors. We can provide standard moulding profiles, work with you to match existing profiles, or help you create new custom moulding to finish out your project with distinction.
Fireplace Mantels
This heart pine half mantel harkens back to the Victorian era when coal burning fireplaces where often the only means of heating a house. Old Beam can custom build a fireplace mantel to match any look, vintage or modern.

Stair Parts
Stairs are a wonderful way to display the beauty of heart pine, even for those who do not have wood floors.
Old Beam will be glad to provide you with custom stair parts and matching railings in the same wood grades as our heart pine flooring.
We generally provide stair treads and risers that are laminated (glued up strips of quarter sawn stock). This makes for a stair part that is more resistant to cracking and warping.
